Undergraduates

AAB – The Associate of Arts in Business (AAB) program is designed for adults who are striving to begin or complete their college degree. The Associate of Arts in Business (AAB) program stresses skills development in the areas of business communication, accounting, economics, finance and business relations.  Baker University offers a 60 hour program providing an educational experience that prepares students for more advanced study and introduces them to the fundamentals of business. Upon completion of the AAB program, students will have satisfied the general education requirements needed for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) degree. The AAB program offers courses in the following areas: Financial Planning, Introduction to American Politics, Advertising and Promotion, Mass Media and Society, Human Ecology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

BBA – The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is created as a multi-disciplinary study of business administration which prepares students to meet the challenges of the contemporary workplace by facilitating their understanding of a balanced and informed approach to decision-making. Baker University’s BBA program is a 41 hour program designed to provide training in the skills required to make effective decisions and to formulate both short- and long-range business plans. The program provides training and the personal skills needed for effective organization. Listed below are the main concepts covered in the BBA program: Business Law and Government Regulation, Financial Management, Data Development and Analysis, International Business, Prior Learning and Writing Development.

BSM –The Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) emphasizes development and refinement of the management skills essential to success in both business and industry on a global scale. Baker University’s BSM program is a 41 hour program designed to facilitate social development and effectiveness in interpersonal and group relationships. It provides critical thinking and resolution strategies for addressing contemporary management issues. Listed below are the main concepts covered in the BSM program: Management Issues and Society, Organizational Culture, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, Quantitative Methods for Quality Management, Management and Leadership.

Graduates

MBA – The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program provides highly interactive, application-oriented learning environments emphasizing collaborative teamwork. Baker University's 43 hour Master of Business Administration (MBA) program emphasizes the identification, analysis and solution of complex management problems within a context requiring both technical understanding and balanced decision making. Online MBA - Baker’s Online Master of Business Administration (OMBA) program is a 43 credit-hour degree program.  Students will earn Baker’s prestigious MBA degree while participating in an online environment.  Baker University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program emphasizes the identification, analysis and solution of complex management problems within a context requiring both technical understanding and balanced decision making. MSM – Baker University's Master of Science in Management (MSM) is a 36 credit-hour degree program comprised of courses which provide students with a broad, critical, and practical-based understanding of management. This knowledge prepares students for a variety of leadership positions in complex contemporary environments. Listed below are the classes and concepts that comprise the core of the MSM curriculum: Principles of Organizational Management, Human Resource Management, Legal and Ethical Environment of Business, Consumer Behavior and Decision Making, and International Management

CMDR - Baker University’s Master of Arts in Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution (CMDR) degree program is a 37 credit-hour degree program designed to provide students with a thorough foundation in conflict theory, law, and the social/behavioral sciences.  Students gain the vision, determination, and expertise needed to meet today’s conflict challenges.  Focused on new approaches and practical techniques, the course of study provides formal conflict management skill development in negotiation, mediation and system design.  Listed below are the classes and concepts that comprise the core of the CMDR curriculum: Communication and Negotiation, Principles of Mediation, Legal Issues in Mediation, Decision Making and Problem Solving Strategies, and Behavioral Styles in Conflict Management.
